Beauty Mogul Phoina recently opened up about why motherhood isn’t in her plans just yet in an exclusive interview with SPM Buzz at the launch of her latest beauty products.
“Kids are not in my plans right now. I don’t feel ready. A child is not something you just buy from a store. Until I feel ready, no one should pressure me. Money isn’t everything; it’s about being mentally prepared,” she firmly stated.

With her bold personality and fast-paced lifestyle, Phoina admitted she couldn’t imagine herself handling motherhood at this point in her life.
“With my personality, I’m not sure I could handle a child right now. I can’t imagine not being present for my kid,” she added.
On Being Submissive in a Relationship
“You have to be ready to be submissive. I now have plans, and being submissive isn’t one of them, at least not until I meet the right person.

Adding, “You can’t just be submissive to anyone. I’ve met different people, but I couldn’t submit to them like that.”
Would Phoina Date a Celebrity?
For Phoina, dating in the limelight comes with challenges she’s not willing to deal with.
“It’s important to protect your partner, especially if they’re not in the social scene. I once dated someone in the public eye, and after I posted him, people started hitting on him in his DMs.”
As for dating another celebrity, she’s not convinced.
“I’m not sure about dating someone in the limelight. I don’t want us competing for likes. I’m not interested in that kind of relationship. Posting your partner online is a personal choice.”
On Women Keeping Men
When it comes to relationships, Phoina is clear about her expectations.
“I would never keep a man. I want my man to provide and be a leader. That’s how I was raised—a man should do what a man should do. If you grow together as a couple, that’s fine, but just make sure your man isn’t lazy.”
A Glimpse Into Her Upbringing
Despite her tough talk, Phoina describes her upbringing as a loving and nurturing experience.
“I grew up in a single-mum household, but she later remarried. I’m a spoiled, loved girl because my grandmother also raised me. I’m an only child; my mum didn’t want any more kids.”
