For months, Neema fans have been left puzzled — and heartbroken — by the sudden disappearance of Naomi, one of the show’s most beloved characters. Played by Beatrice Wangui, popularly known as Bcoh, her exit sparked intense speculation and endless rumors.
But now, Bcoh is speaking out — and the truth is far from what fans assumed.
“I never left — let’s make that crystal clear,” she told Mpasho. “Otherwise my fans won’t forgive me. There are many reasons, but basically the bosses were very inconsiderate in many ways.”

Her departure, she insists, was not a choice but a painful consequence of behind-the-scenes struggles. “Professionals don’t walk away before they finish their craft. I’m such a one! All of that was simply mischief from the ‘untouchables,’” she explained, pointing to internal politics within the production.
Looking back, Bcoh reflects on her time on Neema with pride and a tinge of sadness. “I gave my all when I was there. I always give my best because I know opportunities come from God. I had no power over my departure — just as it happened to ‘Tiwi’ in Zari.”

She revealed that Naomi’s character had a deeply personal origin story tied to her own journey in the entertainment industry. “After Maisha Magic Plus, guilt consumed them — and that’s how Naomi in Neema was born. Even that, they couldn’t let me finish. Because with them, some things are untouchable.”
Since her exit, Bcoh has been pouring her soul into new passions. “Music was my first love — many people don’t know that. When they see me on screen, they think I’m just an actor. But I’m blessed with many gifts,” she shared.
Beyond music, she has been writing scripts for several companies and is working on two major projects with “some of the biggest names in the industry.”

And her love for acting? Unshaken. “In capital letters — YES!” she declared. “I will let people enjoy my long-term goals when they see the achievements. See you in the future.”
On the personal front, Bcoh is glowing. “I’m engaged to the love of my life. Mahari was given and we sealed the deal. I have such a wonderful family-in-law.”
For fans, the truth is out — and while Naomi may be gone from Neema, Bcoh’s journey is far from over.

Beatrice Wangui’s (Bcoh) Engagement-to-Wedding Journey
1. The Proposal
It began quietly — a heartfelt moment where her partner, surrounded by close friends, got down on one knee to propose.
Beatrice’s answer was a joyful “Yes!” — setting the stage for the blending of two families and cultures.
2. Family Introduction
Shortly after the proposal, both families gathered in a warm meeting. Over tea and snacks, they exchanged pleasantries, blessings, and laughter.
It was the first step in cementing their union, allowing elders to give their blessings and share wisdom for the road ahead.

3. Traditional Ceremony (Ruracio)
A highlight of the journey came with the Ruracio — a deeply symbolic Kenyan engagement ceremony. Families gathered dressed in vibrant traditional attire (matching the couple’s look in the photo), bringing gifts, songs, and blessings.
Dowry negotiations took place, honoring tradition and mutual respect. The air was filled with ululations, drums, and heartfelt prayers for the couple’s future.

4. Wedding Preparations
Following the traditional ceremony came a season of careful preparation:
- Pre-wedding photoshoots capturing their love story.
- Bridal showers and bachelor parties for fun and bonding.
- Finalizing the guest list and wedding program.
They embraced both cultural heritage and modern elegance, blending tradition with personal touches.
5. Wedding Day
The big day was a celebration of love and unity. Guests were treated to a ceremony that intertwined traditional rituals with modern vows.
Music, dance, and heartfelt speeches filled the air. Family and friends rejoiced as Beatrice and her partner sealed their vows. The evening ended in joy, laughter, and dancing under the stars — a memory to last a lifetime.
6. The Beginning of Forever
Now married, Bcoh and her partner step into their new life together, carrying the blessings of both families, a deep respect for their traditions, and a shared dream for the future.
