Cardi B vs. Nicki Minaj: Feud explodes again with album jabs, baby shade, and brutal tweets

The rap world’s most explosive rivalry has lit up again — and this round is messier, louder, and more personal than ever. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have reignited their long-simmering beef, trading vicious jabs over music, motherhood, and who truly owns the crown.

Cardi, 32, fresh off the success of her chart-topping new album Am I the Drama?, found herself at the center of Nicki’s fire.

The Queen rapper, 42, didn’t hold back, shading Cardi’s Billboard No. 1 single Magnet and mocking the album’s $4.99 iTunes price tag, quipping it screamed “desperation.”

But the nastiest blow? A viral tweet where Nicki sneered at Cardi’s pregnancy:

“Raw doggin pregnant wit da 4th babeeee… Barney B. BV. HPVeeeeee, allegedlyyyyyyyyyyyy.”

Enter Cardi B — never one to let a diss slide. Within hours, she unleashed a storm of clapbacks, flipping the insults right back at Nicki:

“Damn she was streaming Magnet hard as hell huh?? The power I have… make these bitches come out of rehab everytime.”

And she didn’t stop there. In a tweet that shook the fanbases, Cardi told Nicki to stay in her lane:

“You been in the game like 16 years… you need to compare yourself to YOUR peers — Rihanna, Taylor, Drake. Those are your numbers. You can’t, cuz you lower than all of them. I was in high school when you came out — wtf is you comparing yourself to me for??”

Boom. Mic drop.

This is far from the first clash between the two megastars — fans still remember their infamous 2018 New York Fashion Week brawl, a fight that turned handbags into headlines. But this latest chapter feels raw, unfiltered, and deeply personal, with both women firing from all cylinders.

As Cardi’s Am I the Drama? continues to dominate streaming charts and Nicki gears up for her next big project, the stage is set for what might be the fiercest round yet in hip-hop’s most talked-about feud.

One question remains: Who’s really running rap’s throne — the upstart Bronx queen or the Queen of Queens herself?
