Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu’s relationship has soured, sparking tension after the WCB Boss publicly denied dating Zuchu during the filming of the Netflix reality show Young, Famous & African.
The show, which premiered on January 17 with eight episodes, has become a dramatic stage for the stars’ lives, with new cast members joining the returning ones for what promises to be an exhilarating season.
The first episode delves into Zari Hassan’s wedding to Shakib Cham, while Diamond and Fantana, the Ghanaian singer, stir things up with revelations about their complicated connections.

Fantana, in particular, expresses her surprise at being invited to Zari’s wedding, acknowledging that she and Zari are “not in a good place” due to their shared history with Diamond.
Fantana recalls a painful time when she fell for Diamond, only for him to deny having a girlfriend, despite rumors to the contrary.
Diamond, on the show, insists that he has no girlfriend, describing his situation with Zuchu as just a “situationship.”

He is also seen getting close to Fantana, kissing and flirting with her in a scene that has left fans shocked and confused.
Despite this, during a conversation with Tanzanian singer Nandy, Diamond spoke about planning to marry Zuchu before the start of Ramadhan, which will begin on the evening of February 28.
If he keeps this promise, he will have tied the knot with her before the end of February.

But behind the scenes, tensions are escalating. Zuchu, who is signed under WCB, has recently accused Diamond’s Wasafi FM employees of bullying and harassment.
She claims that the station frequently makes her the center of discussion, which she finds both exhausting and demeaning. In a heartfelt and emotional message on social media, Zuchu expressed her frustration.
“Let me announce that I don’t need and it is not a must that Diamond marries me,” she wrote. “Let it get to a place where you have other things to interview people about.
Adding, “He doesn’t even need to be with me because I have never held a gun to his head—he has the liberty to go where he wants. I see you are discrediting my work.”
Zuchu further added, “I see when Diamond has a woman, you all leave your work and start focusing on her in the whole organization (Wasafi FM). If it is easy to be his woman, tell those you want him to date to go and date him.”

In her emotional plea, she concluded, “Then do this, tell him to leave me alone and see if I will follow him. I have boundaries.”
Zuchu’s words reflect the emotional toll this situation has taken on her, as she struggles to assert her own space and identity amidst the turmoil surrounding her and Diamond Platnumz.
