From pain to purpose: Kate Actress launches Auntie Kate Foundation to end FGM & period poverty

Kenya’s beloved Kate Actress (Catherine Kamau) has turned her heart into action. Through the Auntie Kate Foundation, she is rewriting stories of suffering into stories of hope — empowering women, protecting children, and fighting harmful traditions like FGM.

With a mission rooted in dignity, health, and compassion, the foundation delivers more than aid — it restores self-worth.

From providing nutritious meals to schoolchildren to ensuring young girls have access to education and sanitary products, every step is a stride toward breaking cycles of injustice.
