Actress Jackie Matubia is ready to embrace love again in 2025, and she’s not holding back in expressing her hopes for the future!
In a candid video on her YouTube channel, Jackie Matubia shared that while she had completely shut down any possibility of romance in 2024, her perspective has dramatically shifted.
“My people, this year, when you pray, tell God to remember Jackie Matubia. I am ready for love. I am ready to love again,” she exclaimed with a smile. She even joked.

Adding, “I had said 2024 was ‘Abadan kataan.’ I didn’t even want to hear the word love. But in 2025, I’m open, so send your CVs and tell me how much you love me!”
Jackie Matubia also made it clear that she wants people to focus on her personal journey, not just her children. She shared her hopes for a love that is “pure, secure, and real,” and sent positive vibes to anyone on a similar quest.
“If that’s your resolution too, I’m sending you love, and may it be all you have ever dreamt of,” she added warmly.

This newfound openness to love contrasts sharply with her earlier reflections from January 2024, when Jackie was coming to terms with life as a single mom.
Back then, she expressed her fears, wondering how she would balance family life and her personal aspirations.
“Speaking from a single mom perspective, there is a lot of fear,” she had confessed. “Will I be able to hold the family by myself and still achieve as Jackie personally?”

But despite the challenges, she acknowledged the strength she’s gained through her struggles. “That fear, I say, if something doesn’t scare you, then it’s not worth thinking about,” she reflected, encouraging others to push past their fears.
Jackie also humorously recalled a prayer she made at the start of 2024: “Lord, I do not want to be amongst your strongest soldiers.
Please, 2024, I just want to be, thank you, you did it.” She embraced the idea of a “soft girl treatment” this year, hoping for peace, joy, and fewer struggles.

Jackie’s message is powerful, especially for single mothers. She emphasized the importance of self-reliance, urging other single moms to stop waiting for a man to provide.
“This is the year to control ourselves,” she advised, adding, “The children are yours at the end of the day.”
In addition to her pursuit of love, Jackie made another big resolution for 2025: to buy her own house. “I told myself I must buy a house this year.

Where you walk into the house and say, ‘This is my home’ because you’re not paying rent,” she shared with a determined smile.
Her journey is one of resilience, self-love, and newfound hope. As she boldly embraces love, independence, and new beginnings, Jackie Matubia is proving that 2025 will be her year.
And as for those looking to win her heart? The CVs are open—let the search for love begin!
