Jamaican star Shenseea, who landed in Kenya ahead of her show on December 31 at Uhuru Gardens, is a renowned global icon who has captivated the world with her talent.

The excitement was palpable when she touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), with fans in Kenya eagerly anticipating an unforgettable experience.

Popularly known as Shenseea, the singer was born Chinsea Linda Lee on October 1, 1996.

Early Life & Education

Born and raised in a multicultural environment to an Afro-Jamaican mother and a Korean-born father, Shenseea’s style and career in music were heavily influenced by her upbringing.

From a young age, she showed a strong interest in music and entertainment, a passion reflected in her education.

After graduating from Mona High School, Shenseea joined Exed Community College, where she majored in Entertainment Management.

Breakthrough in Music

The multitalented star’s raw talent stood out, catching the attention of Lemuel Samuel’s Rockstar Music record label, which signed her.

Her breakthrough came with a captivating remix of Vybz Kartel’s “Loodi” and her performance at Reggae Sumfest in 2015.
