Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good’s relationship has been nothing short of extraordinary, and the latest revelation about the sacrifices Meagan made for their love only deepens their remarkable story.
In an emotional interview with The Breakfast Club on March 21, Jonathan Majors opened up about the cost Meagan paid simply for “standing by him” during his tumultuous legal battles.
“They weren’t announcing it, but she [Meagan Good] lost endorsements,” Majors shared candidly. “We got uninvited to stuff. She got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was, and they knew if Meagan’s coming, J’s coming.”
Amidst the public scrutiny surrounding Majors’ assault trial, he didn’t shy away from praising Meagan’s strength. “She took an incredible hit,” he said.
Adding, “She’s a very strong woman, stronger than me. She kept me up and continues to keep me up.”
Despite the heavy toll, Meagan has remained unwavering in her support. Reflecting on her conviction to stand by Jonathan, she previously shared on The Breakfast Club, “I was talking to God, and I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
Additionally, I’ve learned that not only will things not always make sense to me, but they won’t make sense to others either. And that’s okay. As long as you’re in alignment with God and trusting the path, that’s it. The more I’ve done that, the happier I’ve been.”
Their love story became public amidst Jonathan’s highly publicized legal issues in 2023. Meagan was often seen by his side, even attending his court dates throughout his struggle.
In December 2023, Jonathan was found guilty of assault and harassment, stemming from a 2022 altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
Then, in a revealing twist, a leaked audio surfaced this week, showing Jonathan admitting to “aggressing” Jabbari, leading to more complex discussions surrounding his past actions.
Majors, however, spoke of his personal growth in a recent Complex interview, saying, “I was so grateful that I had done my work, you know? And I’m continuing to do my work. I was happy I had done my work.”
Through all the challenges and public scrutiny, Jonathan and Meagan have found their strength together. Just recently, they confirmed their marriage in an intimate, private ceremony, adding another chapter to their powerful love story.
Their engagement, announced in November at the EBONY Power 100 Gala, marks the beginning of a new, hopeful chapter.
As Jonathan continues to promote his latest film, Magazine Dreams, now showing in theaters, it’s clear that through the trials and triumphs, the couple’s bond remains unshaken.
