Ugandan singer and songwriter Jose Chameleone has been flown to the United States for further treatment after being discharged from a Ugandan hospital.
The “Valu Valu” hitmaker expressed heartfelt gratitude to his fans and friends for their prayers and support during his recent medical emergency.
“Thank you, my friends with whom we are battling this out. God before us, we are going to kick the devil out š,” Chameleone said, sharing his resilience and faith.
In an emotional update, he revealed the bittersweet reality of this festive season:

āThis festive season marks a first for meāspending it away from the stage and all of you, my beloved fans. Unfortunately, my hospitalization has disrupted our annual tradition of celebrating together through music.ā
Jose Chameleone also announced he will take a temporary break from performing to focus on his recovery:
āI extend my heartfelt gratitude to the promoters who have consistently believed in me and to the fans who have always shown up to support me. Unfortunately, Iāll be taking a temporary break from performing until Iāve made a full recovery.ā
