A political earthquake is shaking Kenya’s opposition bloc. What began as whispers about Raila Odinga’s health has exploded into an all-out war of words between two former allies — Kalonzo Musyoka and the ODM Party.
The Wiper Democratic Movement has unleashed a scathing response, accusing ODM of desperation, hypocrisy, and moral decay after linking Kalonzo to false reports about Raila’s health.

In a fiery Sunday statement, Wiper Secretary-General Shakila Abdalla tore into ODM, saying the party’s accusations were “reckless, unfounded, and beneath a once-respected movement that has now lost its moral compass.”
“ODM’s attempt to drag Kalonzo Musyoka into its internal confusion,” she fired, “is a weak distraction from the cracks tearing apart the so-called Broad-Based Government they now defend so blindly.”

Shakila didn’t stop there. She reminded ODM that Raila’s failed AU Commission bid had nothing to do with Kalonzo — blaming it instead on the “diplomatic blunders” of the very government ODM now embraces.
Wiper went for the jugular, accusing ODM of betraying Kenyans by joining hands with President William Ruto’s administration — the same regime they once condemned for economic pain and political persecution.

“ODM’s latest statement is not about Raila’s health,” Shakila declared. “It’s about their guilt, their fear, and their desperate attempt to justify a political marriage that reeks of despotism.”
She closed with a defiant message:
“No one will drag Kalonzo Musyoka into their self-inflicted political decay. He remains steadfast in his belief in a Kenya that values justice, truth, and integrity over money and power.”
