Jonathan Majors is proving that true love always finds a way as he married his lover Meagan Good in an intimate and private wedding ceremony.
During his emotional appearance on The Sherri Show on March 19, he opened up about marrying the love of his life, Meagan Good, after nearly two years of dating. “Today might be the happiest day of my life,” Jonathan shared, with tears in his eyes.
From their first magical meeting at the Ebony Power 100 Gala in October 2022 to now, their journey together has been nothing short of amazing, “we met in the unisex bathroom,” confirmed Megan.

Since going public with their relationship, Meagan hasn’t been shy about sharing how Jonathan has impacted her life, previously describing their love story as “an amazing journey, and I cherish it deeply.”
“This relationship has taught me about unconditional love,” the Harlem star told Ebony in January. “What it means to be loved in the fullness of who you are and to love someone who brings out the best in you.”
Jonathan has openly shared his deep gratitude for Meagan Good, who entered his life during one of his darkest moments.

Just two months before their relationship came to light, he faced a devastating arrest in New York City, accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari—a charge he steadfastly denied.
Despite the turmoil, a court convicted Jonathan of misdemeanor assault and harassment, sentenced him to 52 weeks of counseling, and fined him $250.
et, through it all, Meagan was one of the few who never turned away. She stood by him, unwavering, when the weight of the world seemed unbearable.

In an emotional January 2024 interview with Good Morning America, Jonathan reflected on his struggle, his voice heavy with emotion: “I’m really blessed. I’m surrounded by people who love me, who care about me.” But this has been very, very hard, and very difficult, and confusing in many ways. But I’m standing.”
But their love story is more than just a fairytale—it’s a testament to unconditional love, trust, and resilience, especially as they faced challenges like Jonathan’s legal struggles.
And while she said “every friend advised” her to wait until Majors’ court case was over to begin a relationship, the Shazam! actress chose to follow her heart.

“One thing I know is that I can always look myself in the mirror when I trust my spirit, when I trust God, when I ask God, and when I move to the beat of my own drum, I can always look and say, ‘OK, I’m proud of that,'” she added. “No matter whatever happens, I have peace in my heart and I have harmony in my heart.”
Even though Meagan Good said she always considers her loved ones’ opinions, “at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life and I’m the one who has to get to heaven one day, prayerfully, and give God an account of what I did.”
Through it all, Meagan stood by his side, supporting him even during the toughest times.

Jonathan, 35, and Meagan, 43, have proven that love isn’t just about the good times but about sticking together when things get rough.
Jonathan shared how their relationship has taught him the true meaning of being loved.
From their first encounter to the unforgettable moment Jonathan popped the question, their love story is one for the books.

Now happily married, Jonathan reflects on their bond, saying, “We finally got to do it, but it was always the plan.”
In addition to sharing that it was his mom, a pastor, who served as their officiant, Jonathan also shared that he asked Meagan’s dad for permission.
The nuptials mark Jonathan’s first marriage at 35 and Meagan’s second at 43, following her previous marriage to DeVon Franklin from 2012 to 2022.
Megan Good Divorce From Ex-Husband Devon Franklin
Franklin, 45, and Good, 42, married in June 2012 and spent nearly a decade together. Their divorce was finalized in June 2022 after Franklin filed in 2021, citing irreconcilable differences.
In her first solo ESSENCE cover interview, Good revealed the decision to divorce wasn’t hers. “It’s nothing that I would have ever chosen, and when I realized it was happening, I was devastated,” she shared.
Adding, “I was like, ‘This is me, Lord. I did everything I could to the best of my ability. I don’t understand why I did all these things, and then this is my end result.’”

Good and Franklin announced their divorce in December 2021 after nine years of marriage, finalizing it in June 2022, just a week after their 10-year anniversary.
Good told ESSENCE that she still sees Franklin, 44, as “an incredible and beautiful person.” She revealed the divorce was especially tough because she didn’t want to repeat the pattern of her parents, who also split after 10 years.
“It was rough because my biggest fear was that what happened between my mom and dad would happen to me,” she shared. “I would say, ‘I’m never getting divorced. I’m in it forever, good, bad, whatever it is, I’m never going to give up.’”
