Kenyan musician Nadia Mukami has shared that she and her partner, fellow artist Arrow Bwoy, have made the difficult decision to postpone their long-awaited wedding after discovering they are expecting their second child.
The couple already parents to a young son (Kai) chose to put love, family, and wisdom above ceremony. It was a decision made with the quiet guidance of Nadia’s father, who gently advised them to wait until after the baby arrives.
“When my father realised things had changed, he advised us to hold off until after the baby arrives,” Nadia shared, her words layered with the weight of love and tradition.
Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy’s Wedding Dream Deferred
While the world watched their music careers soar, Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy had quietly been planning a wedding behind the scenes.
Hints of an impending union surfaced when Arrow Bwoy visited Nadia’s family late last year. In a touching moment of cultural affirmation, he dismissed polygamy despite coming from a polygamous background and confirmed that they had chosen a date.
But life had other plans. The couple’s growing family took precedence. A child on the way meant shifting priorities, and the dream of a wedding was set aside for now.

The Proposal That Couldn’t Happen
Behind the scenes, love was blooming and so were the hurdles. Arrow Bwoy had prepared a proposal during their U.S. tour, enlisting the help of his manager. But when the moment arrived, he discovered the ring he bought didn’t fit Nadia’s fingers.
“We checked her hand, and the ring didn’t fit. We had to return it,” he recalled with a laugh, masking the frustration beneath.
He got the ring resized. He waited for the perfect moment. But before he could ask, life stepped in again, Nadia told him she was pregnant.

Love That Waits
Their traditional wedding, originally scheduled for 25 February, was also postponed. Between tour commitments, parenting, and preparing for their new baby, time slipped away.
The couple’s decision has sparked curiosity and speculation. Some fans wonder whether delays signal deeper issues. But from their own words and actions, it’s clear: this isn’t about problems, it’s about priorities.

Love, for Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy, isn’t a ceremony or a viral moment. It’s patience, partnership, and showing up for each other, for their children, and for the life they’re building together.
For now, the music continues, the family grows, and the wedding like their love waits until the time is right.
