The Mugithi artist Samidoh then joked with Dorea Chege and DJ Dibul, advising them further: “My advice to the couple is simple—after this child, go for another. By the time you hit the fifth, you might just find yourself with a chopper.”
The couple recently revealed they are expecting their first child, sharing the news with heartfelt excitement.
“We’ve been through a deeply personal and transformative journey through pregnancy,” they shared. “We’ve spent countless nights dreaming of the future, holding each other close, embracing every change. There’s been love, laughter, and even a few tears—all within our little world.
Adding, “Now, as we share this beautiful news with you, we feel immense joy and gratitude. Thank you for being part of our story—we can’t wait to share this next chapter with you!”
Dorea Chege also expressed her gratitude to fans: “We thank you so much for the support you’ve always given us. Thank you for following us. Today, we are thrilled to announce some amazing news—we are finally pregnant!”
Reflecting on 2024 and looking ahead to 2025, Dorea said, “We thank God for this gift.” She then laughed, recalling the constant rumors surrounding her for the past three years.
“There was even a point when people thought we had a miscarriage,” she said.
Earlier, Dorea had denied any rumors of pregnancy or miscarriage. In a past interview with actress Morin, Dorea was candid about her approach to motherhood:
“I’ll have kids when I’m ready! The pressure from social media won’t shake me; I need to be prepared financially, emotionally, and physically.
Adding, “Yes, my boyfriend is a DJ, and I trust him completely—he’s never given me any reason to doubt him, not even for a day. And I’ll always defend him!” she added, laughing at the constant texts from girls who think they’ve spotted her boyfriend. “But I don’t care.”
