In a candid interview with Buzz Central, Sanaipei made it clear that some things are non-negotiable for her when it comes to her craft.

With unshakable conviction, she stated, “Despite my neutrality, I refuse to take on LGBTQ roles if that is what they require of me.” I won’t engage in nudity, and I will not imply s*x. Kissing on the lips is also something I refuse to do.”

For Sanaipei, these boundaries are sacred. As much as it is acting, people become so lost in their characters that they forget where the role ends and the real person begins.

Some might even hate you for something you did on screen, but my personality won’t allow me to cross those lines,” she explained, emphasizing how deeply characters can affect both actors and viewers.

Currently lighting up the screen in Kash Money, Sanaipei’s role as a socialite wife has presented a fresh challenge. “I’ve never played a character like this before.

The role demanded that I speak only in pure English, and that was a task I had to master,” she shared. Having done a mix of English and Kiswahili in her previous roles, the transition was a tough but rewarding challenge, especially with a cast she had known personally for years.

Why Sanaipei Tande Exited Popular TV Series Kina

Sanaipei’s acting journey has had its ups and downs. In February 2023, she made the tough decision to exit the popular TV series Kina, where she played the iconic Nana.

While many fans feared she was stepping away from acting altogether, she was quick to clarify her reasons on social media.

“I chose to leave due to exhaustion and the need for rest. The nature of the show meant a replacement was necessary for the show to continue, and I’m grateful for all the love and support I received during that time,” Sanaipei explained.

She also expressed her deep affection for her character, “I thoroughly enjoyed my time as ‘The Great Nana Mandi Tandala.’ I will surely miss it.”
