Globetrotting socialite, entrepreneur, night club host and reality TV star Vera Sidika has clapped back at beautypreneur Huddah Monroe after her sharp critique of reality TV fans.
In a statement, Vera addressed Huddah’s recent remarks, where she suggested that reality TV “dumbs down society” and offers no educational or impactful value.

Huddah had taken to social media, writing, “I wish there was more to reality TV than just party, war party, but the agenda is to dumb down the society. There can never be anything to elevate the minds and pockets of the people.
Adding, “And many people on these shows are my friends, by the way, but to each their own! I’d rather watch videos of dogs and cats before I watch a reality show or someone else’s life on a YouTube vlog.”

She went on to add, “I can’t even watch myself. In all honesty, after watching all these reality shows, how did it change your life? Did you learn anything? Did it have an impact on your life in any way?”
Vera didn’t mince words in her response, calling out what she saw as hypocrisy in Huddah’s statement. “How someone claims to hate reality shows so much yet was in one 10 years ago is diabolical. Oh, and being evicted five days later is nasty work.

Adding, “Judging people for watching reality shows. Ain’t crazy much? Yet, you’ve been in one before, and it backfired. Make it make sense. Better yet, just be quiet and mind your own business,” Vera posted.
“FYI; if you wanna watch educative stuff pls go to discovery channel, let trash tv lovers enjoy. Everyone wants a good laugh after stressful day at work, school. It’s Purely for entertainment.

Watu wa church waende kwa pastor Ng’anga,” the last of her post read.
